Abstract Art Rooted in Texture, Movement, and Emotion
I'm Brian P, an abstract acrylic and mixed media artist from Escondido, California, creating original paintings and limited-edition giclée prints.
My work is driven by texture, movement, color, and emotion. I create paintings that go beyond decoration. My goal is to make artwork that brings energy into a space and creates a meaningful connection with the people who live with it.
Art that Resonates
Art is a language of its own. It communicates through color, texture, movement, and feeling. Sometimes, it expresses things that words cannot.
A painting can inspire, soothe, energize, or invite a moment of quiet reflection. It can draw you in slowly or make an immediate impression. For me, the most meaningful artwork is the kind that continues to reveal something new over time.
My goal is to create art that speaks to each viewer in a personal way and becomes more than an object in a room. I want my paintings to become part of the atmosphere, memories, and everyday life of the spaces they inhabit.
My Artistic Approach
My paintings are bold, expressive, and full of life. I work with dynamic color combinations, layered textures, expressive marks, and unexpected details to create depth and movement.
I’m interested in the balance between control and spontaneity. I want to know when to guide a painting and when to let the process lead. Each layer adds to the story of the piece, creating a surface that invites closer attention.
Every painting is an invitation to pause, feel, and interpret. There is no single required way to experience the work. What you see and feel in a piece is part of what makes it yours.
Carefully Crafted
Every painting is created by hand, layer by layer, with careful attention to color, texture, composition, and detail. Each original carries the character and personal touch of the process behind it.
Self Expression
Painting gives me a way to process my thoughts and express what I cannot always put into words. Each brushstroke becomes part of that journey. Through painting, I find space for reflection, emotion, and peace.
